On a warm autumn day in Redwood Shores, 5 warriors emerged from the shadowy depths of their offices to face a daunting challenge. Their mission: consume 14 lbs. of watermelon in a race against another team of voracious software engineers. Putting their very lives on the line, they recklessly devoured slice after slice as their team cheered them on. In the end, by the slimmest of margins, they emerged victorious. And their reward? A free watermelon. Thanks to all Lightwave members who came out to participate and support their teammates, and a special thanks to Kalpana for organizing the team.
