General Information
Our practices are held at either the Bair Island Aquatic Center
(BIAC) in Redwood City, or at Lake Merced in San Francisco. For most weeks we usually have a weekday practice (currently on Wednesday evening at BIAC) and a weekend practice, which alternates between Saturday and Sunday mornings. Please check the calendar for the latest practice schedule.
We welcome anyone who wants to try out dragon boat paddling to come and join us at a practice. You will not need any equipment as paddles and PFDs are supplied by the CDBA. Please email us in advance to confirm the time and location.

Parking: Street parking on Maple Street before and in front of the BIAC entrance.
Lake Merced

Parking: There are parking spaces in the area once you turn into Harding. On weekends when many teams may be practicing at the same time, spaces can fill up quickly; be sure to look in the small lots on the right side before the golf course entrance. If all spaces are filled, there is also a parking lot across Skyline Blvd (you will need to drive past the Harding entrance and take the next left turn).
